I really enjoyed the first Discrete Assignments book, but I enjoyed this one even more! Probably because this one didn't have the "danger" aspect of the other one or any faux drama in the form of an ex lying about the fact that she's an ex, etc. The drama / conflict in this story came from the characters and it was all completely believable.It's not quite age-play, but it kinda borders on it. Simon hires Suzanne to role-play with him for nine months as his 16 year old "ward." In some ways it kind of reminded me of a Victorian romance where the ward and guardian fall in love with each other, except that these two obviously know that they're role-playing so there was a lot more sexual interaction. But not sex, not right away, because Suzanne has had her virginity surgically replaced and Simon really is treating her like the virgin that she now is... and it's driving her up the wall because as much fun as their sexual interactions become to her, she wants more.
Suzanne discovers that she craves his spankings, his dominance and his discipline. She grows up a lot as his 'ward' and, subsequently, he starts treating her in a more adult manner. And the relationship is beautiful to watch; just as much fun to watch is Suzanne's acceptance of herself for who and what she is rather than trying to change herself into the person her ex wanted her to be.
Loved it and I can't wait for the next one!

Another awesome book from Mrs. Jane Pearl. The title can be misleading. This book is no way a representation of role playing that is forceful or demeaning for women that I normally come across. The story portrays Simon as a tutor to Suzy while encouraging her to better her life and earn her education while completing her assigned job. The book has a little twist at the end that was rewarding and leaves the reader with a since of fulfillment for Suzy. The sex was tasteful as always. I expected nothing less from Mrs. Pearl. I can't wait for her next book!

He is a Dom that is truly supportive. but overall an interesting book that still moved at a good pace and had an interesting story line.
I loved this book. I couldn't stop reading it. The lead characters were sexy as sin.
I enjoyed watching their relationship unfold. The idea of her being trained to please her future husband was intriguing at first and then a downright turn on.
I also enjoyed reading something about the BDSM community that wasn't all about sexy and kinky adventures. It was more about caring and concern. A delicious change.
Well written with only a few editing errors. This was a lovely story with a well formed plot and a lot of sexual tension. Light elements of BDSM, mostly limited to D/s, role play and spanking. At the very end, the story got away from the author with kind of a weird twist of their common history, but until that point, I was definitely in the author's world and enjoying the emotional interplay between the main characters in the book.
For fans of BDSM, I strongly recommend.
This was a great story. Of course, it was hot and sexy. I loved the realistic characters. Often in erotic stories of this nature, the standard school uniform is imposed...but I loved that it was so much more realistic. Although Suzanne thought she would be role playing, I loved that Simon actually required her study toward her G.E.D. then encouraged her to go on to community college. I also liked that she didn't brat out just for the role play, but was tempted to do the same things any fun loving girl might do or at least try to do.
This author writes some very hot sex and earns extra points for including good spanking scenes. However I just didn't care for this story as much as I did the first one. It was a little too strange for me. I had a hard time picturing Simon in my head. He seemed too nerdy. Some of the wording is also a little repetitive. Every time he entered her we were told he went "balls deep" it just got old.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book! Not only was it free but it also was complete. So many times I pay for books....and we all know they aren't cheap.....hoping to have more than 13 or 50 pages that basically cover a day or two and is done. This book was very hot, included ageplay, bdsm, multiple sex scenes, and disipline all within a caring/loving environment. This book had a storyline that I kept expecting to suddenly end as most books in this category do and to my surprise....it didn't end until the story was complete and all possible questions were answered. The writing itself was also well done without errors that make you scratch your head to decipher ) The author did a fantastic job!
